19th Annual Wild West Rugby Fest

One day only – Saturday December 4th. First matches kick off at 8:00 am. Brackets: men & women

Please keep in mind we only ask a couple things of all people who attend:

 1-No glass
 2-Beer in cans is allowed if you are twenty one.  No other alcohol is permitted
 3-We cannot beg you enough to please clean up after yourselves and use the trash cans!!!

In accordance with the laws of USARFU all players must be CIPPed in order to participate in the tournament.

Scottsdale Sports Complex is the location (this will be our 4th year in a row there).

Captains meeting will be at 8:00 pm Friday, December 43rd.  Brackets for Saturday’s matches will be released at this time.

Format is completely social and is 3 games, no more no less.  Teams will be matched up accordingly.

Tournament vendors on site
 * Hot  food & beverages by the Buffalo Chip
 * On The Mend, P.T.  will be on hand for your cuts and scrapes
 * T-Shirts sales benefit Scottsdale Youth Rugby
 * www.iarugby.com (Jeff Lombard) for all your rugby needs.
 * Two Masseuses will be on site (they request $1 per minute for their services)

Entry fee is $400.00 per team and we ask for an extra $25 per team as a donation to the melanoma cancer fundraiser this year.  First come/first served, we take only full payments/no deposits.  Keep in mind we sell out early every year, but encourage all whores to come down to Scottsdale.

Scottsdale Sports Complex is a state-of the-art, 71-acre competitive sport facility offering tournament level playing conditions. The facility accommodates a variety of flat field sports such as soccer, lacrosse, football, Ultimate Frisbee and rugby. We invite you to search availability for open dates and times.

In addition to sports fields, the complex has a full, lighted basketball court, a shaded playground, multi-use paths and open park space for drop-in public use as well as a public art component and two restrooms.

Scottsdale Sports Complex has been recognized as a Valley Forward Association 2006 Environmental Excellence Crescordia Award winner, an American Society of Landscape Architects 2006 Professional Landscape Architects Merit Award winner, an American Council of Engineering Companies of Arizona 2007 Engineering Excellence Grand Award winner and recipient of the American Public Works Association 2007 Project of the Year award. The facility also had the honor of appearing on the cover of the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association quarterly publication in spring 2007.
